I had the pleasure of mixing together Fatimah Asghar’s intimate voice, banjo performed by one of the directors (Beyon), music by a super awesome band called Milo & Otis, and my own organic and synthesized sound design. Orchestrating all of these moving pieces was a fun challenge that involved a lot of automation of EQs and reverbs to allow everything to speak nicely with each other. Every element has a different moment to shine, even though the voice is of course the fundamental center piece that commands your attention.
